Four Flies Records gives brands and agencies the opportunity to plug directly into the sound of Italian film music from the late 50s to the mid-80s.  Our master and publishing rights catalogue also includes fresh new music and is available for one-stop synch licensing.

We manage both the master and publishing rights of over 3000 tracks originally composed for movies or television by film music pioneers like Mario Nascimbene, Carlo Savina, Fabio Fabor, by composers whose work has found great favour with contemporary ears – such as Alessandro Alessandroni, Piero Umiliani, Giuliano Sorgini, and Berto Pisano  and by great jazz musicians turned composers who revolutionized and modernized the genre – including,  among others, Sandro Brugnolini, Roberto Nicolosi, and Enzo Minuti.
Our repertoire is always expanding with new acquisitions – music from long-forgotten archival recordings, as well as new artists and producers who work in film music or bring a cinematic feel to different genres, from nu-soul and pop to electronic and disco.
We have provided tracks for films, TV, advertising, and other projects all over the globe.  Recent placements include Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (Quentin Tarantino), Tales from the Loop (Amazon Video), Love Wedding Repeat (Netflix), Hunters (Amazon Video), High Fidelity (Hulu), Good Girls (Netflix), Sweetbitter (Starz), NCIS – Los Angeles (CBS), and Estée Lauder, just to mention a few.
We also have experience in providing assistance with sample clearances.

At Four Flies, we all have extensive background in both music and film. Besides being passionate about the relationship between sounds and images, we are well aware of the powerful role of music in emphasizing specific features or meanings in a film, broadcast, advertising, or other types of video. Our team works in synergy to provide you with a range of music supervision services, from creative consultation to curated searches, and help you find music that best fits your project, from both inside and outside our catalogue. We can also produce original compositions for film, TV, and advertising thanks to our wide network of composers, songwriters, and DJ/producers.

We recently acted as music supervisors on Piero Vivarelli, Life As a B-Movie, which premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival and received the Nastro d’Argento Award for Best Documentary on Cinema in 2020.
